While it may not ring a bell immediately as a 'continent' or
region of the world, some of the larger countries in Oceania may
help. Australia and New Zealand are the two largest islands in
the area of the Pacific Ocean known as Oceania. The region also
consists of such well known places as Hawaii and Easter Island.

territories in this part of the world. If you want to travel for
adventure, relaxation and fun - Oceania may be the best
destination for you. Some areas are more expensive than others,
but most of them offer something a little special and unique
while giving you the flavor of the Pacific at the same time.

Guinea, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, this region of Oceania
isn't one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world,
but those who do travel here usually fall in love with the
locals and their culture. Fiji may be the most well known
island, but the others offer a lot for travelers as well. From
experiencing fishing cultures to enjoying the beauty of the
landscape, there is plenty to do here.
Micronesia
This area of Micronesia contains some territories of the United
States, including Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, and Wake
Island. Also in the region are the Federated States of
Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Kiribati and Marshall Islands. You may

of the hit reality show Survivor. With breathtaking and lush

travel a little out of the way to find something different.
Polynesia

quite a few different countries, including the United States of
America, France, Chile, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. From
Easter Island to American Samoa to Hawaii to Cook Islands and

something a little different. Some of the places here have also
been the location for the Survivor television show in past
seasons.

world. For those who like the ocean and everything that goes
along with it, Oceania can provide some of the best memories
possible.
Whether you like to be on the water itself or just enjoy being
near it, with a little planning and preparation, you can find
your dream destination in Oceania. With a little patience, it's
